A new
principle for internal wave generation has to be proposed,
if a monochromatic plane wave is necessary for
laboratory experiments. The key idea is to create
physical boundary conditions that effectively propagate
within the fluid interior, instead of a stationary
forcing.

My main tool for Data Processing is Matlab; I developped several functions of general use, and more specific toolboxes.

In order to continue monitoring rapid ocean interior temperature variations, the Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (Royal NIOZ) has constructed a new accurate temperature sensor that can sample at a rate of once per second during a period of 1.5 years.

I participate to the development of the CIVx and UVmat software. This set of Fortran and Matlab user interfaces and functions compatible with the NetCDF file format, is suitable for processing temporal series of velocity, concentrations or scalar, in two and three dimensions.

The Coriolis platform is the largest rotating table in the world. It belongs to the Laboratoire des Ecoulements Geophysiques et Industriels (LEGI) at Grenoble, France.
